Description: This is training for those members looking to take part in the spurs test on 23 December 2026.
There are strict rules around who takes the spurs test and candidates have to be put forward by their branch. We’ll use the first training session to ascertain the levels and if the instructor feels that the appropriate level is not achievable within the time frame, the candidate will have to take their test at a later date.
All candidates will be able to attend all of the sessions regardless of whether they are put forward for the December test date.
Please ensure you ride the pony you will taking your spurs test on.
The training will be on the following dates and group times and lists will be sent shortly:
Ridden Sessions x 2:
29th November: 12pm:1pm or 1pm:2pm
22nd December: 10am:11am or 11am:12pm
Zoom training online:
7 December: 7pm:8pm
